Epic Games’ unwaveringly popular free-to-play battle royale title is entering the final few weeks of its Chapter 3 Season 2. The eventful season began with a bang by temporarily removing its signature building mechanic, with an island-wide territorial battle between the Imagined Order and The Seven raging at different POIs in the weeks since. The battlefront is currently at Tilted Towers, just southwest of where players will be collecting Omni Chips.

All Omni Chips at Coney Crossroads

A recent site of a battle against the IO, Coney Crossroads is an often hotly-contested location this season, second only to the infamous Tilted Towers. While none of the Omni Chips are particularly hard to find, like last week’s IO Command Omni Chips, the centrally-located POI is bound to be filled with other players.

Omni Chip 1 - The first Omni Chip location at Coney Crossroads is in the northeast corner of the area. Head inside the garage next to the gas station, where the chip will be waiting inside. Omni Chip 2 - Players can find the second Omni Chip in Sofdeez, the pink ice cream shop on Coney Crossroads’ eastern edge. Get up to the outdoor patio on the second floor of the building to grab the second chip. Omni Chip 3 - The third and final Coney Crossroads Omni Chip location is across the street from the second. Head southwest to go through the gate on the southwestern corner of the building, where the last chip will be sitting atop a fountain.

After players manage to collect all three Omni Chips from Coney Crossroads, there is another set of chips to find at Shell or High Water. For those who may be unaware, Shell or High Water is a landmark located directly north of Shifty Shafts. Identifiable by its snow-covered hedge maze, players can find a chip within said maze, near a campfire, and within the nearby house. More obscure of a landing spot than Coney Crossroads, it may be advisable for players to collect these Omni Chips first, giving a chance to properly equip themselves to better handle any threats.

Beyond adding a new wave of Omni Chips around the island this week, recent updates have also unvaulted some long-dormant items. In addition to unvaulting the Choppa, Fortnite’s v20.30 hotfix brings back trickshot weapons like the Flint-Knock Pistol and the Hunting Rifle. The hotfix also reintroduces the Air Strike item, which rains down a flurry of 20 missiles on the spot of wherever it’s thrown, which could make collecting Omni Chips a bit more difficult than usual.

Fortnite is free-to-play on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
