Season X, and everything that came before it, was part of Chapter 1, and everything that’s happened since is Chapter 2. Most players enjoyed Chapter 1’s map more and wish that locations that were in it would return. But which ones would be best to add to Chapter 2’s map?
10 Paradise Palms
When Season 5 released on July 12, 2018, part of the map became a desert. Paradise Palms was a city on this desert and immediately became a beloved location. Before it appeared on the map, this area was known as Moisty Mire, which was around since the game’s first season and these two areas would eventually become one, called Moisty Palms, before being removed from the game. Players would go to this part of the map the most when Paradise Palms was around, and many want to go back despite there being similar buildings in Chapter 2’s map.
9 Loot Lake
As there are some locations from Chapter 1’s map that are still in the game, it’s surprising that Loot Lake, also known as Leaky Lake, isn’t one of them. There are a lot more bodies of water in Chapter 2’s map and Loot Lake would fit right in. It was in the game since its first season and had changed a lot until being removed at the end of Season X.
Some of the ways Loot Lake changed over the years include temporarily becoming a giant bounce pad after Kevin the Cube went inside of it and becoming the center of a research facility towards the end of Chapter 1.
8 Fatal Fields
There were two farms when the game first released: Anarchy Acres and Fatal Fields. As Anarchy Acres wasn’t as popular as Fatal Fields, it was removed from the game back in Season 5.

Fatal Fields has cornfields that are hard to see past, making them a great place to hide, as well as a river, small forests, and buildings. With Fatal Fields being the most well-known farm that was ever in the game, players went there more than others and would do so again if it returned.
7 Pressure Plant
The Pressure Plant was one of the last locations to be added to the Chapter 1 map. Before players could go there, it was a volcano that erupted at the end of Season 8, destroying other areas on the map, with the most popular being Tilted Towers.
Throughout Season 9, the Pressure Plant became an important location as it was where the Mecha was built. As the Pressure Plant wasn’t around for that long, only those that played the game towards the end of Chapter 1 were able to go there, so it’d be great to give players another opportunity to see this underrated location that didn’t have as much time to reach its full potential as other areas did.
6 Lonely Lodge
Despite its name, there was a lot more at this location than just a lodge. Surrounded by a giant forest, players were also able to go to a lookout tower and a mansion that was added in Season 4. This mansion originally served as the base of a superhero team, while a group of villains was in their own base at Snobby Shores. However, it would eventually be destroyed before being removed along with everything else around it.
5 Haunted Hills
Though it wasn’t around from the very beginning, it’s hard to remember when Haunted Hills wasn’t in the Chapter 1 map as it joined the game in Season 2. It was a graveyard that had both tombstones and mausoleums.

A castle sat on top of the hill beside the cemetery in Season 6, which was a great time to add it to the game as Halloween was right around the corner. Since there isn’t a graveyard in the Chapter 2 map, Haunted Hills would be unique compared to the other locations in it.
4 Tomato Temple
There are several fictional restaurants in Fortnite’s universe, with one of them being Uncle Pete’s Pizza Pit, which could be found in Tomato Town. However, the restaurant and other parts of the town were replaced in Season 5 with Tomato Temple. Like Tomato Town, the majority of Tomato Temple was taken away a few seasons later, being replaced by the volcano and the jungle.
3 Dusty Divot
Dusty Divot is a location that was put into the game at the beginning of Season 4 after Dusty Depot was hit by the meteor. In the middle of this new area was a research facility, though in Season 5, a forest grew in its place and a diner was added to it. Dusty Depot made a return in Season X before both versions of this area on the map were removed from the game completely.
2 The Block
The Block was a very unique location compared to everywhere else on the Chapter 1 map. It featured things that were built by players in Creative from Season 7 to Season X. This gave fans that enjoyed making things a chance to have their creations be seen by all of the other players.
Though they can still work on their own projects in Creative, it’s unfortunate that players can no longer have them on the main map. In some ways, this is the location that should have been on the Chapter 2 map more than any other area.
1 Tilted Towers
Tilted Towers is the most popular location to ever be in the game. It was a city that was introduced in Season 2 and the majority of the game’s players started going there. It became known as the best place to get the most kills but also resulted in many fans losing games almost as quickly as they started them.
At the end of Season 8, it was destroyed and replaced three times before Season X ended, with these three areas being Neo Tilted, Tilted Town, and, due to a collaboration with DC, Gotham City. Out of every location that could return, the majority of fans would be happy with Tilted Towers.
