Prospective Forspoken players going through the Epic Games Store listing can also browse the game’s many achievements barring some hidden ones that will be revealed through gameplay. Forspoken’s console exclusivity to PlayStation doesn’t prevent Xbox fans from unlocking Gamerscore on their platform because the PC port includes Xbox achievements, with some others anticipating a future Xbox console launch. On top of the PlayStation trophies and Xbox achievements that Forspoken players can unlock by overcoming the various in-game challenges, the Epic Games Store iteration may be how some fans want to track their progress.

According to the Epic Games Store listing for Forspoken, the Square Enix title has 53 total achievements which reach 1,000 profile experience points that can be shown off to other users of the platform. Though the more common achievements on the list offer 10 XP for tasks that Square Enix may expect players to complete, there are a handful of hidden ones that provide 50 XP, and two that reach 105 XP. With so many players already experiencing Forspoken through the Epic Games Store, several have completed the “Unlocked Potential” achievement and some hidden ones, but only 0.5% of fans have accomplished the more difficult challenges.
Although some Forspoken players are lamenting various aspects of the game like the PC spec requirements and the action-RPG’s story, others are stacking up points with achievements through the Epic Games Store and platforms like it. Similar to the PlayStation Store, the Epic Games Store also offers the Deluxe Upgrade for Forspoken which includes early access to the In Tanta We Trust prequel story DLC which is expected to drop in Summer 2023. While Forspoken players can already earn Epic Games Store achievements by playing the game, they’ll have to wait until the prequel story DLC releases to complete the Square Enix title.
Ahead of its recent launch, Square Enix released a demo for Forspoken that gave players a taste of the action-RPG which may have helped some decide if the game was worth achievement hunting through. While Forspoken is a quicker title to progress through than other open worlds like The Witcher 3 or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, trophy hunters may not rack up points as quickly as with My Friend Peppa Pig or Escape Academy.
Forspoken is available now for PC and PS5.
