In season 7, we saw the prisoner escaping from the captivity of the Ice King and it now looks like he could bring about a volcanic eruption to the start of season 8. Epic Games also released 4 teaser photos ahead of Season 8 and when you put them together, it looks like smoke rising from a volcano. You can check out the photo below:
After a leak on Xbox Game Pass, we now also have our first look at three of the Battle Pass skins in season 8. This leak comes just a couple of hours ahead of the downtime expected before the start of season 8. You can check out the leaked skins below:
We don’t yet know which skin belongs to which tier but they sort of tease a volcanic theme ahead of season 8. There were rumors that season 8 could feature an aquatic theme with gamers speculating that the volcanic eruption could lead the icy part of the map to melt and flood certain areas. We still have to wait a couple of hours to see which rumors are true and which are not.
Fortnite season 8 releases shortly on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Gamers have a chance to earn the Battle Pass with extra challenges at the end of season 7. The wait is now almost over for fans of the game.
