Clark was arrested on August 20th for assaulting a gym employee in Florida according to Fightful.com, allegations which include behavior too wild for the ring. These aren’t the first allegations that have been made against the former NXT wrestler who was dropped back in 2021.

The last time an arrest was made in conjunction with the WWE, it was for Ronda Rousey’s actions taken holding up SmackDown after paying off her recent fines—but wanting to fight her suspension and generally that’s where these things stay: at the ringside. The situation involving former wrsteler, Clark, however, enters into allegations of real-world assault that includes vicious attacks. According to law enforcement involved in the matter, the entire incident blew up due to Clark being unwilling to vacate an area of the gym that employees had told him was off limits so it could be cleaned.

The unnamed gym employee told reporters that Clark then blew up over being told what to do at which point the employee asked Clark to leave the gymnasium altogether. This was when Clark began threatening to kill the employee—a threat which carries weight coming from anyone, but moreso coming from an athlete trained in fighting. Clark then began assaulting the employee, punching them repeatedly before moving in for the Mike Tyson finisher of biting the victim. The arrest records state that the officers, “observed teeth marks on the employee’s ‘left chest, near the armpit.’”

This isn’t the fist time Clark has had allegations leveled against him, with Deadspin reporting on multiple accusations of sending lewd images to minors, a very serious accusation. This recent assault on a gym employee adds to this list. Nor was this Clark’s first trouble in the sunshine state, nor even his first charge of assault and battery. He was arrested on August 26th in Orlando, Florida on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and the state also filed against the former WWE wrestler on August 20th, when he was arrested for first degree battery and trespassing on property after a warning.
