The Westminster Police Department announced East’s death in a Wednesday news release, in which he remained unidentified. According to the release, East was found with a “serious stab wound to the chest area.” “Officers attempted life saving measures until OCFA paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local trauma center, where the victim succumbed to his injury.” Westminster police named 27-year-old Trent William Millsap as a suspect in the stabbing....

Richard Logan, 53, shot and killed his wife Diana Lynn Logan, 48, and their son Aaron Logan at their home on Evening Light Drive in the community of Greatwood, the police department of the city of Sugar Land, southwest of Houston, said in a statement on Thursday. Logan then drove to San Marcos, Guadalupe County, around 160 miles away, where he physically assaulted his daughter Ambrielle Logan before ending his life....

Christner received three 9-year sentences for felonies from an Elkhart County judge, and will serve 20 years in prison with seven years suspended. He also was given two 7-year sentences for two other felonies that will be served along with the suspended sentence should he violate his parole after prison, according to WNDU-TV. In November, Christner pleaded guilty to several child molestation charges. He was a youth group leader for First Baptist Church in Goshen, Indiana....

An Ohio news station reports that Jake Bates, a 13-year old Fortnite player from Mason, OH recently found himself being duped by a fellow player. When Bates was chatting with another player in the game, they convinced the teen that they could give him more Fortnite skins if the teen handed over his username and password. Bates obliged, and this seemingly benevolent player then proceeded to hijack the teen’s Fortnite account as well as his email account, even changing the passwords (including the recovery passwords) and phone number preventing him from getting it back....
